05.11.20 | Ep. 408 Benjamin Anderson| Colorado Hospital Association

Benjamin Anderson is Vice President, Rural Health and Hospitals at Colorado Hospital Association.  Prior to working at his current position, he helped turn Kearney County Hospital in Kansas from an institution that was losing $100,000 a year into the county's largest employer by developing a model that recruited young doctors to work in a rural setting and to make an impact by practicing family medicine.

In a world where rural hospitals struggle to stay open due to financial constraints, Anderson has succeeded in Kansas and now Colorado.  Featured nationally on CBS Sunday Morning and in Politico.  Anderson met Joel at a fundraiser in Kansas City last winter to benefit Angel Flight Central, a non-profit organization that relies on volunteer pilots to serve people in need by arranging charitable flights for health care or other humanitarian purposes.
